This is Zander at home having a little carpet time. He had already had tummy time for 15 minutes when we "flipped" him over~My fave picture is the body shot....isn't he just too cute

Zander continues to stay in the NICU and as of yet, we still do not know what is causing the infection. I am hoping that the pediatrician comes earlier today rather than later to let us know what is growing in the cultures. I am a bt worried t might be Strep B and if so...there is a lawsuit brewing. I am SUPER PARANOID of this disease as I was a carrior of it. I push the ampicillian and I asked the Doc about it Wednesday. She said the tests were negative but with all the UTI's that Kait had...it makes me nervous. He also was in her uterus much longer than I would have liked after her water broke so.....

Please pray for our little guy. That whatever this is, it is easy and QUICK to clear up. Coming home from the hospital without your infant is heartbreaking...I know, I did it 11 years ago. I so hate that my "Baby" has to do the same. WE will make a couple of trips a day back so she can give them his milk and hopefully get to hold him. They have this odd rule to not let the moms hold the babies as "babies don't like to be held when they are sick" ??? Well I don't know about that...most children WANT their Mommies when they are sick.

ANyway, I need to get dressed and get over there....I'll keep everyone updated
