Good girls go to Heaven. Bad girls go everywhere.
The in's and out's, up's and down's and high's and low's that happen to be my life.

I'm having one of those days where everything is just...blah. I've no energy...I'm just "here". Nothing sounds fun today...nothing tastes good...it's all just blah~I'm not even in the mood to call my best friend and chat on the phone. I just want to hibernate for some reason. I don't think anything is bothering me or making me depressed. I don't feel that way. It's just a blah sort of day I guess. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I hope that whoever reads this is having a better day.

Appetizer
What kind of car do you drive? If you could make an even trade for any other car, what would you want to drive?
I have two cars that I drive. Our family car is a 99 Plymouth Grand Voyager, the other is a 02 Mazda Miata. One is practical...one screams early midlife crisis. LOL. If I could make an even trade...hmmm....for a family car I might get another van. We need the room when we take trips...as to the other...a BMW Z4. In other words....what I have is close enough to the others for me. We currently have no car payments and I'd like to keep it that way until at least January 07.
Soup
Take your phone number and add each number together separately (example: 8+6+7+5+3+0+9=38) - whatÂs the total?
House: 32 Cell: 24
Salad
When were you last outside, and what were you doing?
The very last time I was outside I was walking in to the house from my drive home from work...before that, I had recess duty at 11 a.m. today
Main Course
What is your favorite restaurant, and what do you usually order there?
As long as I am not cooking...they're all my favorite. We tend to go places that are family friendly. We like Roadhouse Grill as well as Logan's Grill. They're noisy and you get to throw your peanut shells on the floor which the kids like. We also like salad bars. I order whatever I am in the mood for, be it salmon or chili cheese fries.
Dessert
Name 3 things in which you occasionally indulge.
1. Doubledecadencee Brownie Ice Cream
2. Sleeping Naked (I know TMI)
3. Reading cheap romance novels

Appetizer: What is your middle name? Would you change any of your names if you could? If so, what would you like to be called?
My middle name is Dawn. I like it though I am much more a night owl so it isn't exactly accurate. Over time, I guess I've come to at the least, accept my first name. Now, if I could get others to pronounce it correctly...that's why I go by Charly.
Soup: If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most? Me, a fashion designer....
HA HA HA~ If this were a perfect world, and I had a "perfect" body...I would forego clothing altogether. Until then...I like soft fabrics...and things that don't cling to my "ampleness". I would use earth tones with occasional jewel tones thrown in...mostly cottons and a few silks thrown in...whatever it is though...would have to be washable. Dry cleaning costs entirely too much.
Salad: What is your least favorite chore, and why? I HATE~ HATE~ HATE....did I mention HATE unloading the dishwasher. I don't mind loading it for some reason, but putting it away...no thank you. I also loathe sorting whites....socks, undies, tshirts...I'd rather just leave it in a clean clothes basket and pick out the ones I need every morning. I don't mind folding the tshirts and undies, just dont' want to have to figure out what belongs to who. I don't know why...
Main Course: What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life? I am frightened of someone I love dying when I least expect it. The thought of Bill disappearing via death or anything else almost paralyzes me. Of course, it's because my Daddy died just after I turned 12...at the very young age of 33. I don't want to me alone.
Dessert: Where are you sitting right now? Name 3 things you can see at this moment.
I'm sitting in my bedroom in front of my computer desk.
Three things I can see are....
an empty 44 oz soda cup
Ted Koppel on Nightline
my unmade bed.

The Keys to Your Heart |
You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free. |
In love, you feel the most alive when your partner is patient and never willing to give up on you. |
You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring. |
You would be forced to break up with someone who was insecure and in constant need of reassurance. |
Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything... no secrets. |
Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment. |
You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred. |
In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard anytime. You're feeling self centered. |
Oh, did I mention I started writing again?? Not alot just yet, but my juices are once again warming. I feel like a maple tree who is feelin the sap beginning to flow after a long, long, cold winter~
The tile man has been at my house for 2 days and is almost finished with the floor. I am sooo incredibly happy that Bill talked me into going with tile. It looks beautiful. We have decided to go ahead and also tile the hall and my bathroom as well. It won't cost all that much as we look to have a lot of extra tile. Mr McCormick ( the tile guy) told me that we chose such an excellent tile, he hasn't lost any on cuts and has been able to make double cuts. This has saved me almost 4 boxes of tile. I'll need a few more to do the work we now want to do. The house looks so much better and seems less dusty. Dust here is a big problem as this is an agricultural town. I think it may help with everyone's allergies.
We are experiencing a "Level 5" heat wave and boy am I tired of it. It's been 105 degrees plus everyday for the last 9 days or so. At least here, we're used to it being hot and it is a "dry" heat. I saw Phoenix is having the same heat...just hotter there. I'd say there is something to the global warming thing, except this happens every few years. It's a big cycle. Several "cooler" summers...than a "holy crap" summer...just our turn for one of those. That doesn't make my electric bill any smaller though...PGE (the electric company) must be loving the profit margin they are earning this year!
I'm off to work..Have a few new project for the kids today involving "extra" pieces of tile. We're going to get rather dirty making mosaics.

Found at Susan's and Misty's blogs....
1. How much money is in your wallet right now?
That would be none. I very, very seldom have money in my wallet. I have the checkbook though. Thats how I keep track of where and what I buy
2. How much money would you need in the bank to feel secure? Rich?
Secure, about $6000. That way if anything were to happen and I was laid off or injured, we could still meet the mortgage payment without my income. Rich? Hmmmm at least $5 million after Uncle Sam had his cut. Once the house was paid off that would def pay for college and let us have a nice lifestyle for the rest of our lives. I don't need fancy things...
3. If someone gave you $100, no strings attached, what would you do with it?
Cash it into quarters and pt it in my pickle jar with my other change...I'm saing for a cruise with Bill
4. If someone gave you $1 Million, no strings attached, what would you do with it?
The liklihood of that happening is slllim to none...so I won't even imagine it.
5. How much does something have to cost before it starts counting as “real” money, as a purchase to be considered and evaluated, but below which you’ll buy without really thinking about it?
I'll spend $50 without asking Bill....but I so seldom do that he pretty much always agrees with the purchase.

I'm BAAAAACK~
WE've been so busy with the house. After the loan was all signed and we had a month with no payment on the house, we decided to start on our next projects. All of the windows now have new blinds except my kitchen window..I don't want them there. We ripped up the floor in the kitchen and dining rooms saving ourselves almost $700 in costs having Home Depot do it...then decided to tile instead~I have to go tomorrow and pick out some tile and let the tile guy know what I want so he can go pick it all up . I hope it isn't making a mistake...vinyl just sounds so much easier to take care of. But, Bill really wants the tile and he so sweetly lets me have my way with the rest of the house as far as carpet and paint colors. He really, really likes blue....but lets me have green carpet and walls. I guess I can "give" on this one...lol.
I'm busy with work teaching the older students as I do every summer. It sure is different talking with them as opposed to my lil guys. However, I can't hardly wait to have my Kinders back. The only problem with that is as of right now, I have one student for next year who is a kinder...and he is in danger of being dismissed from the school due to behavioral issues. He needs psychological help but the family won't hear of it. I may end up with a class of Pre-K children instead....which would let me have a year to relax. I am always afraid that with the requirements the schools require now that I won't have taught my students "enough". True they leave reading and able to add and subtract, how to graph and label, measure and basics of money. They can rhyme and know the important parts of books (front cover, back cover, spine, title, author etc) But it is alot of pressure trying to keep up with the ridiculous requirements set by the state nowadays. Pre-K will let me do sooo much more art and have more time for music and movement and the like.
I'm on vacation this next week....and my FIL will be here form Florida. We' will relax tomorrow. Tuesday is Universal Studios and we hit the beach for a few days getting out of the heat here....we'll be leaving behind 106-108 degree weather in exchange for 69-73 degree weather :o) I worry about my dogs while I'm gone but, they do have a pool of water, a misting stand to sit under or near and a nice soft place to lie...and plenty of food, toys and chewies to amuse themselves.
The bad part about going on vacation while he is here, I always feel like I need a vacation from my vacation~
As to writing...I'm gonna TRY and start something this next weekend. I sure hope the words come to me...I need to write an average of 60 words a day to meet my Jix requirements...sometimes I think I should just resign NOW and not disappoint myself and the few people who read what I manage to put to paper~
