And so ends another school year...sorta. We had graduation at school tonight. I say sorta in that school isn't sctually out until the 3rd of June, but next weekend is Memorial Day weekend and we knew no one would come next Sunday night. I sure am glad this year is coming to an end. It has been fun but I have a few children in my class who have tested my patience. That isn't to say I won't miss them...I will. I just am glad I will be getting a break from this age group for the summer. I still have alot to do with the kids in the next few weeks, we have been working on special projects to give to the parents the last day of school.

THe cheerleaders had a successful car wash. That is a relief in that I will get a discount on my daughters cheer camp this summer.

I spent a quiet weekend at home with a few friends coming in and out. Bill and I spent Friday watching a movie and went out to a late lunch/early dinner on Saturday. I sure am glad he has this next week off...I will be glad for the company this next week. Stephanie and I went out yesterday and bought a new outfit each for the program tonight. I of course, bought black...she threw in some RED. We both looked FAB...LOL..if I may say so myself.

Not much going on sides that. I do have a HILARIOUS joke to share...soon as I figure out how to get it here. IT's a visual one...tooooooooo funny...made my daughter fall over...and I mean that literally~

Getting late, going to run and brush my teeth...soak in the hot tub for a little while...and hit the sheets. Night all~

Graduation from 8th grade is fairly formal here. Kait and I spent a few hour at the mall (hell) and found a dress, shoes and accessories. We were able to find "bargains" and got out for less than $70. She graduates at the convention center here in town and I will miss it. Yup..Miss it. My *#&@#*! of a boss won't give me the time off. Mind you that in 6 years on the job I have only called in sick 4 days...and all of my time off has been prescheduled at least 3 months in advance to fit around her schedule. But I can't have a few hours off to see my child graduate 8th grade. My boss says "It isn't like it's her high school graduation."

I wish I coud quit. However, California's economy being what it is, NO ONE is hiring, not the City, the county or the State. As it is, Bill's raise that was given under his union contract last year (signed and sealed by the previous governor) is being held hostage by our "wonderful" governor AHNOLD (the ASS) My hours will be cut at work for the summer...so things are getting tight already...there is no way I can tell my boss just what it is I think of her and quit. SHe plans on working til she's old enough for Medicare...so 3 years 6 months and 29 days to go. Can you tell I can hardly wait?

Where is that winning lottery ticket when you need it??

I best get going, the AC is on the blink and the repair company will be here bright and early tomorrow morning...thank God I bought that home warrenty!

I KNOW, I KNOW, I diseappeared for awhile. Things were not the best the last few weeks and I pretty much just holed up and licked my wounds.

Josh's surgery is over and went well. He is having stomach problems now though...he can't eat. He has lost about 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks...and while I WOULD LOVE to lose 15 pounds, he doesn't have any "extra" to spare seeing as he started at 165 and standing almost 6'5. Oh and did I mention he refuses to see a doc about this as "everytime I go to the doctor, they find something else wrong with me"?? He frustrates me to no end. Look up stubborn in the dictionary...and I'm sure there is a picture of his face.

Work has been completely horrid lately and I came VERY, VERY close to quitting the other day. If we were better off financially I would have told my boss, quite happily, that I was leaving. INstead I silently fumed and just kept my mouth closed.

My baby Shea (niece) has to have a cyst removed...and it will require a neuro-surgeon. I don't know all the details yet but they are already scurrying (sp) around getting MRI's and CAT scans...and they want the surgery done BEFORE she can crawl...seeing as how she just turned 5 months,I'm thinking it'll be very soon.

On the bright side. My oldest made the high school cheerleading squad. On top of that, she was invited to join the advanced Jazz choir...which is invitation only and seldom are any incoming freshman asked to join. We signed her up for her FRESHMAN year last week. Not only is my "baby" growing up...she's growing up entirely too quickly. And how did she become the antithesis of my high school experience, petite, blonde cheerleader...Maybe she was switched at birth??

Bill is fine, my other kids are looking forward to having some time away from school...though my 11 yr old has asked me to sign her up for summer schoolso she can be ahead of every one next year. I just might do that for her, better that than bored.

That'll have to do for now...everyone is "starving"
