I need to post tonight so that I keep my promises about keeping this "fairly" current. The week is half done, thank heavens. Let's see what transpired...hmmmm

NC State was winning....on it's way to the Sweet 16...and I of course I was watching every moment...I have this "thing" that they will win if I watch. Now you KNOW that means something distracted me....My puppy and my cat, who have gotten along very well for 2 and 1/2 months, got into it. I rushed over to "save" the cat and was rewarded with a very nasty bite. My son also stepped in, getting bit on the inner arm by the dog. We cleaned ourselves up, soap and water, peroxide, neosporin...etc...and when I came back...my team, who had been leading by 11 had LOST!! I leave for 3 minutes and see what it happens...they lost because of me...lol.

I thought that I had done an amazing job cleaning my finger...til later that night..my entire hand was swollen, RED and throbbing. In less than 12 hours I was seriously considering having it amputated...it hurt that bad... instead, I had 2 rounds of IV's and a nice tetanus shot. Oral augmentin (1000 mg tablets) and it has cleared up all but the bite site.

Needless to say..the NCAA Tourney isn't near as fun to watch...there went my hopes for this year's team...DAMN cat and dog...
