Okay....I have made a promise to a friend...and I will keep my word...I WILL blog weekly...I am not going to say it'll be worth reading. But there will be something to look at.
A "quick" update. Let's see...my thyroid treatmetn worked "too well"...lol..actually what was supposed to happen did, it is dead. The bad news...the replacement thyroid that I have been on since October...isn't working...there is NO thyroid in my body ~Period~and that isn't a good thing boys and girls. Thyroid "runs" everything. Because I have none, I can't lose weight, my bp is slightly elevated, I have raging insomnia and my emotions are so up and down I feel like a basketball during March Madness~Sometimes I think I am going insane~I am working my way towards the "maximum" dose and so far..nothing has worked...I may be switching brands to see if another companies thyroid will attach itself to me...
Kids are good...if not driving me crazy (see above) Beverlee seems to have overcome whatever it was that had her so tired. She is maintaining straight A's and looking forward to turning 11 next month. Kaitlyn is not having as easy a time in school. Her grades have slipped though I am not sure whether that is because the work is challanging her or because of Jake...yup...that's right...we have a boy hanging around the house...God help us all~Scott is (FINALLY) getting into the routine of school and is doing much better...come to find out he IS a reader...one of the tops in his class...he also wants me to sign him up for AYSO soccer today. Guess that means alot of cold early mornings on the damp field for the third year in a row...
I have been enjoying the company of my friends alot more often. I grew tired of being a homebody and always staying home for lack of a babysitter. Kait is old enough now to watch the others and I can call home on the cell to check on them. Seems there ARE a few perks to having a teenaged daughter~lol~
There, thats about as caught up as I can get right now. Laundry pile is waiting and NC State plays Maryland in the ACC Tourney Semi-finals in less than 2 hours...GO PACK!!
