Yeah I know, It's been awhile, been fighting something off and I finally am starting to feel human. I wish I would have just taken the summer off like I planned. Too late now. But I will say this, I am under NO circumstances working during Christmas break...NOT happening. I plan on going on a trip the week after.

Everything is pretty much the same...working hard, playing hard and still going to the gym...have lost a few pounds but I can see the difference in how my clothes fit so I am happy.

Looking forward to the convention, so excited...gives me something to look forward to. ALready making my clothes list and bought some things for the trip.... and my diet...screw it for 5 days, I won't go completely nuts...lol

Wishing my friend was back from her vacation...need to talk to her about this "other" thing...she completely understands where I am coming from... I know I should back away from the situation, but DAMN it is hard...and to be honest, I am hoping that maybe...someday...wishes will come true...does that make me to much of a Disney Princess?? If so...can I be Belle?? Found a quiz...lets see....

You are Belle!

Wow, what fun I've had the last day. FINALLY made it to my new water aerobics class. Was all "easy" but could feel it today. Doesn't hurt like after the weight room..no burn..but can feel my muscles have been worked.

Took my (school) kids to the local ice cream and candy making company. If you ever see Dewar's chews at your local department store, they are from Bakersfield... watched them make peanut butter chews...50 pounds of taffy with a 25 pound block of peanut butter...stretched into just over 3000 individual chews...yum. They also were having a special on chocolate covered strawberries, which I am a sucker for. I bought 10 intending to share them with my family... only to find there is not another soul in my house who likes them...YAY... more for me!! Very sweet and juicy...and since the chocolate is touching the strawberry it counts as a fruit...right??

Need to get the kitchen cleaned up, kids sure can make a mess while I am at work, glad they start summer school next week. Then off to the gym, "machine" night for me...hope someday to actually see some results!

TTFN...

I'm Back!!!

Mom's was fun as always, played with my little nephews and my kids got a kick outta being old enough to eat at the grown up table during my sister's birthday party. Discovered that being pregnant makes my sis slightly insane...she kept asking me how her butt looked in her maternity pants...yeah...like I can answer that honestly... no one has a nice looking butt in maternity jeans....it isn't possible...sorry to any pregnant mommies out there.

Started back to work, I have the third through sixth graders this summer. Alot of fun and a nice mix of boys to girls. Been busy getting Father's Day presents together.

Have managed to already convert two children in my class to Trixie this year. Am going to buy the new ones ASAP to add to the school library... we've been making due with some much loved (read holding together on a prayer) copies of mine from childhood.

Thought I would use Mary's Tuesday Twosome today...

1. Favorite and least favorite cereal?

Hmm that's a hard one. I like so many...right now my fave is Multi Grain Cheerios...they are already slightly sweetened and taste YUM...least fave is Cocoa Puffs...leaves that nasty greasy taste on the roof of your mouth...ewwwwwwwww

2. Whole, 2%, skim or soy in your cereal?

Only skim for this girl... everything else is just so thick....

Now that I am off 4 hours earlier, I have no excuse to not have a spotless house...so I had better get started on that.

Later....

NOt going to be around this weekend, headed to my Mom's house. Need to get away from all the crap at work. Wish I could be gone long enough to hit the beach, but it's okay, I am hoping to head there in August. You would think that living as close to the beach as I do, I would get there more than 2 times a year...lol guess it's true, when you live in the area, you hardly ever do whats around.

Now for a quiz or two, these things are addicting!!

beast
You are Beast!

You are brilliant and extremely clever. You can
handle almost any problem swiftly and
efficiently. You are devoted to philosophy and
are always up for a good discussion.
Sometimes, though, your anger gets the best of
you and you upset those whom you care about.

Which X-Men character are you most like?

and FINALLY.....
wolverine
Sheesh, another fangirl. Well, I dont blame you.
How can any woman resist a sexy body, and the
ruggedness that is Wolverine? Hes a loner by
nature, a heavy drinker, and is plagued by
memories of his past...or lack thereof. It may
take time to work your way into his heart, but
when you do, he'll do anything for his woman.
Just be careful, he has a tendency to stab
people in his sleep. ^_^;;

One more...well maybe two!

entrancing
You have an entrancing kiss~ the kind that leaves
your partner bedazzled and maybe even feeling
he/she is dreaming. Quite effective; the kiss
that never lessens and always blows your
partner away like the first time.

What kind of kiss are you?

I DID IT!!! I DID IT~~ Maybe I don't know HTML... but I can cut and paste with the best of them. I'll be quizzing along.

Got Kyrie's email, just 45 days til convention!! YES!! Can hardly wait. 4 days in Arizona with the Trixsters, a day with my buddy Jay in Vegas then home to rest for a day then back to work, whirlwind but know it will be a blast.

THe situation at work is still not resolved. Though I do now know the specifics of when they will let my friend go. They are waiting til Friday, as we are closed to the children to prep our rooms for summer school, and will let her know then. Can I just say I think I will have lost 10 pounds by then, hardly eating, and when I do it is all crap, not sleeping (for that and one other reason) and am beginning to feel a bit jittery over the whole thing. I have somewhere in one of my purses a certificate for a half hour massage, think I'll dig it out and put it to good use.

Must go wash something to wear for tomorrow...supposed to be 105 or so...and I can't wear shorts or capris...darn it.

Woo hoo...I think I figured this out...lets see...

The graduation program is finis! Went pretty well too. My kids in my class were of course perfectly perfect and I had many compliments about them from their families and others in attendance. One of the other classes in that age group was horrid... I felt bad for their teacher, she really tried to work with them but whoa they were complete cut ups. Guess my kids know I hold them to a higher standard and they strive to reach it...and did so tonight most admirably.

Parents loved our balloon rainbow, I blew up 100 balloons in rainbow colors and the children of the school stood across the front of the church in "rainbow" order. at the end of our procession, I counted to 3 and we all let them fly to the top of the church... oohs and ahhs throughout the room.

Had pizza and cookies and such with the families afterward...going to miss some of them so much. I had a pretty good year. Had a Pretty good group...and I shall miss my "babies".

I guess tomorrow is the day the shoe falls. I really don't want to go in... but what can I do? Only 4 days left with my kids and I don't want to miss any time away from them.

Ya'll think of me please and send a few positive vibes my way...

OH and before I forget...MY SISTER IS PREGNANT!! Again!! She has a 2 year old (3 in July), a one year old (2 in October) and one due either LATE December or EARLY January. Better her than me...not that I don't want another...but it isn't practical at this point... Figure I'll just be favored Auntie cause I spoil them rotten. Can borrow hers and still get a good nights sleep...lol

Still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Stilll having to be quiet about what I know, and it is tearing me up. Not sleeping or eating...It has been decided, my friend will not be staying at work, but they sure are taking their time telling her. Someone else was let go on Friday as well, somtimes I have to wonder what the higher ups are thinking. We start summer school on the 9th and are going to be three staff members short. Supposedly they have received several applications and are going to begin interviewing..but if they take as long as they have in the past, we start uderstaffed.

Tonight is our Spring program and graduation and I know there are things I asked my boss to do that she hasnt done, so I am going to skip church and get to the store and pick up the bobby pins for the graduation caps, the M and M's that we use to keep the 2's and 3's classes happy through the long service and fill 100 balloons with helium and add decorations to the bouquets. Did I mention I am always happy when these things are over??

Going to try and go back to bed, maybe I'll get an hour or two more, sure could use it. Back to the gym tomorrow, would have gone on these sleepless nights but no one to watch the kids... and even though Kaitlyn is technically old enough to babysit, not letting her do it at 4 a.m.

More later, after the program...here's hoping it runs smoothly
