Good girls go to Heaven. Bad girls go everywhere.

The in's and out's, up's and down's and high's and low's that happen to be my life.

NOt much to say..things here are, as always, the same.

I'am now working just 5 hours a day..and hoping we can make it this summer on my reduced pay. Never thought I would say "Can't wait til school starts." My kids have enjoyed their week home from school. The oldest signed herself up for summer school...she is trying to get algebra out of the way. If she passes the course, one year of algebra crammed into 6 very short weeks, she can take geometry in her freshman year. I am very little help to her as the only thing I remember about algebra is that my teacher's name was Fred Plimley, I had the class at 7:30 a.m. and we were allowed to bring coffee to class. My littlest one is staying home this summer and I will be working with him on his atrocious handwriting...lefty or not, he WILL improve. My middle child wanted to go to summer school...She is thrilled that it will be at the junoir high this year. me, I'm just happy that I have a small class this summer and the first week has zipped by.

Not much else going on. I did go and see the Stepford Wives today. Hollywood seems to be running out of ideas. Everything is either a sequel or a remake. Case(s) in point. Harry Potter (3), Shrek 2... then there are the remakes. Freaky Friday, Cheaper by the Dozen, Walking Tall, Stepford Wives, (Night of~Day of~Dawn of) the Living Dead, Texas Chainsaw, and today I see a preview for the Manchurian Candidate with Denzel Washington. There are several others but you get the point. My friend leaned over (after I made the remake comments) and said to me, "Yeah but, the Day After Tomorrow wasn't a remake." To which I replied, "Hello, every disaster film from the 70's all rolled into one." I didn't appreciate the soda shower that followed. Coca cola all over my new outfit...lol.
